My older yet, not so wise cakes!

So I have been wanting to start doing my kids birthday cakes for awhile now, my gramma use to do all of them and now its time for someone to stand up and let her have a break, she's been doing cakes sense before I was born and I have learned a lot about decorating and constancy of icing and cakes. My gramma makes her own icing. I use to LOVE her icing as a child, now I will not be  using her recipe because (sorry gramma) She uses Crisco and powdered sugar !!!!!! I love working with fondant and butter cream icing.

This is a cake I made my son Brandon for his11th Birthday "Wet N Wild" birthday party!!! He loved it I was just happy it turned out ok.

This is Ryans "Buzz and Woody" Cake I made him for his 5th Birthday he loved it!!!!

This was Westins not so great "Transformer" I attempted to make. He liked it a lot!

Now, I have practiced until my fingers have literally bled and can do cakes so much better. I love making cakes and I am glad my gamma taught me so many neat tricks. Thanks gramma for the encouragement, if it weren't for watching you all these years I may not have took an interest in cakes!!!! Love you!!!!
